4. Control
Headband adjustments (all products)
1. Head harness depth adjustment: Adjust the head harness
depth so, that the band part circulating the head is positio-
ned relatively low. This way welding helmet stays well on
the head. The sweatband should be a little above the ey-
ebrows. Depth of a head harness can be adjusted at its top.
2. Adjustment of welding helmet angle: Adjust the welding
helmet angle in regard to your face so that the lower edge
of welding the helmet is positioned near your chest in the
welding position. This way the welding helmet provides the
best protection.
3. Tension adjustment of the head harness: Adjust the band
tightness by rotating the adjusting wheel positioned in the
back of the band.
4. Adjusting the welding helmet resistance against vertical
rotation: Adjust the welding helmet's resistance against
vertical by turning the two screws on the sides. Adjust the
resistance so that the lifted helmet remains up, but drops
with a sharp nod. If the helmet hits the chest when nod-
ding, the setting is too loose.
5. Adjusting the nose distance: The distance between the
face and the ADF can be adjusted by loosening of the outer
screws and then moving forward or backward to the spe-
cified positions. Tighten the screws to secure the selected
position.
