Commercial warranty on the instrument
The commercial warranty offered by Meta is a guarantee of good functioning
against defects arising as a result of long-term use.
The SMARTACT evo device is covered by warranty in accordance with the
law for 12 months from the date of sale stated on the invoice.
The warranty does not cover improper use of the device. Improper use in-
cludes the following: repairs and maintenance performed by persons not
authorised by the manufacturer, defects or damage caused by falling, bre-
aking, lightning strikes or liquid penetration, defects or damage caused by
mechanical, chemical or thermal effects, devices fitted with components or
accessories not authorised by the manufacturer. In order to exercise their
rights, customers must report any conformity defect within two months
from discovery of such defect. In the event of replacement of a product or

component, the products or individual components returned for replacement
become the property of the manufacturer. A service provided under warranty
does not extend the original warranty period. Therefore, in the event of repla-
cement of a product or component, the part that is supplied in replacement
of a defective part shall not be warranted longer than the expiration of the
original warranty period of the defective part. All other rights are excluded.
