G
This model has an EMV circuit to conform to the
legal regulations for this type of circuit and this
circuit has a few idiosyncrasies:
1. With regard to the pulse width for the motor
control, we recommend that you do not change
the value set at the factory (Selectrix = 4 /
DCC = 3).
2. The applies to the value for the control variant
(Selectrix = 1 / DCC = 0).
3. When the model is stopped and when the
lighting is turned on in digital operation, a whist-
ling sound can be heard that is a technical
phenomenon caused by the EMV circuit.
G
It is not possible to run this model with control
systems that use pulse width control in analog
operation.
G
The use of acceleration and braking delay
systems in analog operation can cause functional
limitations in the model and operating problems.

G
The model can run from an analog circuit into a
digital circuit or vice versa only when the train
stops in a transition area of track and the type of
power in this transition area is then switched to
the other system.
G
Recommended maximum grade: 3 percent on
straight track. The train should never be run on
grades steeper than this when there are 5 or more
intermediate cars in the train.
