Using the Features

HOLD Press momentarily to hold the present value on the display and store it in the
memory. Press again to exit this mode.
• Mode Button (Unlabeled) Press momentarily to toggle between AC, DC and frequency
when measuring current and volts.
• MIN MAX AVG PEAK Holds the minimum or maximum value on the display. Press once to
hold the minimum value; press again to hold the maximum value; press again to hold the
average value (press again to hold peak value, if measuring an AC signal). Press and hold to
exit this mode.
• ∆ REL Finds the difference between two measurements. While taking a measurement,
press ∆ to set the display to zero. The ∆ icon will appear on the display. Take the second
measurement. The value on the display will be the difference between the two measure-
ments. Press and hold to exit this mode.
• RECORD Press momentarily to begin recording the input. RECORD will appear on the
display. The CMPL-100 will record up to 1600 events; when the memory is full, RECORD
will flash on the display. To save the recorded data in the memory, exit the RECORD mode
before turning the meter off. Use the CMPL-100-1A PC interface kit (purchased separately)
to retrieve the data from the memory.
To clear the memory, turn off the unit. Then press and hold the RECORD button while
turning the unit on. Release the RECORD button after "CLEP" appears on the display.
