WARNING: ALWAYS manually close the jaws to secure the
accessory. DO NOT operate the handpiece to automatically
close the jaws on the accessory.
NOTE: If the chuck is attached to the handpiece during accessory
installation, rotating the chuck collar will also rotate the handpiece
drive mechanism.
To Install an Accessory
1. Hold the sleeve with one hand and rotate the collar with the
other hand to open the jaws.
2. Insert the accessory into the center of the jaws.
NOTE: DO NOT use the chuck key to close the chuck jaws, as this
prevents the collar from locking and may cause the jaws to loosen
when the chuck is operated in reverse or oscillation modes.
