When the screen shown on the right appears,
turn off the machine and disconnect the USB
cable.
The network connection between the machine and
the computer is now successfully established.
To confirm the setup results, click View Setup
Results.
To change the port name, click Set Port Name on
the Setup Results dialog box. For details, see
"Changing the port name" on page 73.
Important
Before unplugging the power cord, make sure that the
POWER lamp is not lit.
Note
If "Unsafe Removal of Device" is displayed, click OK.

Place the machine where you will be using it, turn on the machine, then click Next.

Click Next on the Connection Performance
Measurement dialog box.
The measurement of the communication
performance starts, and the results are displayed.
Note
The measurement takes a few minutes. To cancel the
measurement, click Cancel.
You can also execute the same measurement by using
the Canon IJ Network Tool.
