Setting up for use with USB connection
This section describes how to set up the machine to be used with USB connection.

On the Setup Method screen, select Use the
printer/scanner via USB and click Next.
Important
This step should follow from step 4 in "Installing the
Software" on page 24. If the Setup Method screen
has not displayed yet, go back to the procedure in
"Installing the Software" on page 24 to complete the
installation of the software.

When the screen shown on the right appears,
connect the machine with a USB cable.
