2.7 Improper use

The operating safety of the supplied product is
only guaranteed for conventional use in accord-
ance with Section 4 of the operating instructions.
The limit values must on no account fall under or
exceed those specified in the catalogue/data
sheet.
3 Transport and interim storage
Immediately after receiving the product:
• Check product for transport damage,
• In the event of damage in transit, take the neces-
sary steps with the forwarding agent within the
respective time limits.

4 Intended use

The EC-Drain LS2 switchgear is for automatic
control of two pumps with a maximum power

6 Description and function

6.1 Product description (Fig.`1)
The EC-Drain LS2 is an electronic switchgear with
an integrated microcontroller.
It controls two pumps depending on the switching
status of the connected float switch. When the
high water level is reached, optical and acoustic
signals are output and there is a forced pump
switch-on. The collective fault signal and high
water alarm are active.
An optional rechargeable battery (accessory)
allows for a mains-independent alarm signal,
which signalises the missing mains voltage by
means of a continuous acoustic signal.
