To change the DIP switch settings, switch the
device so it is voltage-free and secure it against
being switched on again without authorisation.
Maximum system parameters (DIP 1-3)
DIP switches 1 to 3 can be activated (ON) to pre-
vent a possible overload and premature system
failure. When activated, the software monitors
that the preset system parameters are main-
tained. The functions can be activated either indi-
vidually or together.
An optical signal is output (yellow LED) when the
factory preset values have been exceed (Fig. 1,
item 13). An acoustic alarm signal is not output
and the collective fault signal contact (SSM) is not
active.
If an optical signal is output it is recommended to
check the system or operating conditions.
Meter reset is to be carried out by qualified per-
sonnel.
The following functions can be activated (ON) or
deactivated (OFF):
DIP switch
Function
1
Pump switching operations per hour
2
Pump switching operations per day
3
Pump running time per hour
Service (DIP 4-5)
The service interval for the system can be set via
DIP switches 4 and 5. If both DIP switches are
deactivated (OFF), no service alarm is output.
An optical signal is output (yellow LED) when the
set service interval has elapsed (Fig. 1, item 13).
An acoustic alarm signal is not output and the col-
lective fault signal contact (SSM) is not active.
In order to increase operating safety, it is recom-
mended to carry out maintenance when an optical
signal is output.
Time is recorded continuously when the mains
voltage is switched on.
Meter reset is to be carried out by qualified per-
sonnel.
The following service intervals can be selected:
DIP switch

4
Every quarter
5
Every six months
4 + 5
Once annually
Pump activation (DIP 6-7)
Switches for selecting the pump operation mode.
Each pump can be deactivated (OFF) or enabled

Preset system parameters
and different maintenance
intervals are activated via
the lower DIP switch.
For necessary maintenance
work, each pump can also be
activated or deactivated via
a DIP switch.
(ON) here. The green LED (Fig. 1, itemd5, item 9)
lights up while the pump is in operation.
NOTE: If switched off, the pump is not switched
on by float switch requests.

6.2.5 Follow-up time (Fig.`2, item 2)
The follow-up time is the time from when the
float switch contact opens to the base-load pump
switching off.
The follow-up time is set in the device via the
potentiometer. This is set infinitely variably within
the range of 0-30 seconds.
DANGER! Risk of fatal injury!
When working on the open switchgear, there is
a danger of electric shock from touching the live
components.
The work may only be carried out by skilled per-
sonnel.
To set the potentiometer, switch the device so it
is voltage-free and secure it against being
switched on again without authorisation.
6.2.6 External motor protection, WSK
If the motor is equipped with a thermal winding
contact (WSK), it must be connected to the pro-
vided terminals 1 and 2 for pump 1 and terminals
3 and 4 for pump 2.
For motors without a WSK, a jumper is to be wired.
6.2.7 High water alarm
In order to be able to evaluate the high water
alarm, a float switch must be connected to termi-
nals 9 and 10 (HW). If triggered, there is an optical
and acoustic signal, as well as a forced switch-on
of the pump. The collective fault signal (SSM) and
high water alarm are active.
7 Installation and electrical connection
DANGER! Risk of fatal injury!
Inappropriate installation or electrical connec-
tion can be life-threatening.
• The installation and electrical connection may
only be carried out by qualified personnel in
accordance with the applicable regulations!
• Observe the regulations for accident preven-
tion.
7.1 Installation
Install the switchgear in a dry, vibration-free and
frost-safe location.
Protect the place of installation from direct sun-
light.
Borehole distances 268 x 188 mm (WxH). For more
information, see also bottom side of switchgear.
For fastening, provide screws (4 screws, Ø max
4 mm) and the corresponding dowels.
To fasten the switchgear, open the upper part of
