2. When the instrument is ready for analysis, the "Analyze" view will be
automatically displayed. The check cell is the default product. Analyse the check
cell when prompted.

Check cell

Infratec Sofia has an in-built check cell that contains a specified sample of durum
wheat. The concept of the check cell is that it will be used as a tool to monitor if the
instrument changes significantly from day to day. The specified sample of durum
wheat is replaced yearly as part of the Preventive Maintenance Agreement (PMA).
Typically, the instrument will display a prompt once a day that the check cell should
be analysed. This can be done by selecting the Check Cell product from the Grain
menu in the "Analyze" view. If the check cell is not analysed when prompted by the
instrument, a warning will be displayed and recorded for subsequent analyses.

1. If the "check cell" product is already pre-selected – proceed to step 3.
2. To select the "check cell" product, press the soft key Grain. Use the arrow keys
to highlight the product "check cell" and press Select to confirm selection and
return to the "Analyze" view.
3. Press the - key.
