FossManager Updater Software

Infratec Sofia can be remotely monitored and updated via FossManager Updater
which can be installed on a standard office PC. FossManager Updater will
automatically check and notify when updates are available for download to the
instrument.
4.5.1

PC Requirements for FossManager Software

• Windows® XP SP3 or Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit)
• .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 (required)
• 2 GHz CPU speed
• 1 GB RAM
• 2 GB free disk space
• SVGA at 1024*768, min. 16-bit colours
• SD card reader or USB connection (data link between Infratec Sofia and the PC)
• Internet connection
4.5.2

Prepare New SD Card

1. Right-click the FossManager Updater icon in the systems tray (lower right of
screen)
2. Select "Prepare new SD card". Then select the drive containing the new SD card.
3. The new SD card has been successfully prepared and can be used by Infratec
Sofia.
4.5.3

Options

The frequency with which FossManager Updater checks and notifies when updates
are available can be changed by the user.
1. Right-click the FossManager Updater icon in the systems tray (lower right of
screen).
2. Select "Options".
3. Adjust the frequency with which FossManager Updater automatically checks
for updates.
