.1.1
Wheelmounting
1. Use the selector to close completely the locking
flange.
2. Place the wheel on the platform.
3. Use the control lever to place the locking flange in
the inside of the rim.
4. Use the selector to open the locking flange until
locking of the rim is achieved.
i
The locking flange is driven by the high pressure
hydraulic circuit, adjustable from 20 to 130 bar by
turning the dedicated knob (Fig. 1, pos. 17) and rea-
ding the value on the manometer (Fig. 1, pos. 18).
The normal working pressure is 130 bar. For weak or
particularly thin rims it is necessary to decrease this
pressure.
i
The locking flange has 4 jaws for the locking of any
type of rim from 14" to 26".
i
For 42" to 56" rims mount on the locking jaws the
dedicated extensions (see chap.3.4).

1. Pull out the needle from the valve.
2. Lubricate with mounting paste the side of the tire till
For aluminium and light alloy rims are available 4
nylon protections that can be fitted on the jaws.
For particularly difficult tires it is essential to place
the two stops (1) on the rim holes to avoid eventual
sliding of the rim on the nylon protections.
For wheels having a diameter of less than 800 mm or
more than 1500 mm, it is suggested to take off the
mounting tool pin (Fig. 1, pos. 12) and put it in the
second hole.

Avoid valve damage!
The air is discharged completely from the tire.

Warning-tiredamagerisk!
Cracks in case of operation on cold tire. Tire
explosion in case of high speed.
¶
Inner temperature of the tire must be at
least 15 °C.
