5. Operation Modes

Battery Mode

When the UPS is operating during a power
outage, the batteries provide DC power,
which maintains inverter operation to sup-
port the critical load. During battery mode,
the BATTERY LED indicator
( ) illuminates (yellow).

Bypass Mode

The critical load is directly supplied
by the utility power and the batteries
are charged. During bypass mode, the

The alarm beeps once every 0.5 second.
