2) Adjusting the knife head (Fig. 5)
Periodically adjust the play between the knife and ball roller to prevent it from becoming excessive (see
Sticker on bonnet).
The correct play is adjusted in the following way:
a) Slacken off the bolts (E).
b) Use adjuster screws (F) in order to obtain the required play of 0.10 mm between a bolt (F) and the ball
roller (H).
c) Tighten the bolts (E) again.
3) Knife guide adjustment (Fig. 6)
Periodically adjust the play between the knife guide and knife to prevent it from becoming excessive.
Proceed in the following way:
Mowing bar for medium cut (Fig. 6).
a) Slacken off the bolts (I) that lock each of the knife guides (L) in place.
b) Slacken off nut (M) so that the knife slides correctly.
c) Tighten the knife guide bolts (I) again.
