Port RS-485 Communication Functions
4. Create a Ladder program on the Master CLIC-02, as shown below:
5. Testing:
If the inputs I02 and I03 in the slave are turned on, the variables X02 and X03 in the
master will be turned on. In accordance with logic, variables Y01 and Y02 in the master
will be turned on. The variables Y in the master are directly associated with the variables
Q in the slave, therefore, the outputs Q01 and Q02 in the slave will be turned on. Thus,
we can see that the slave input I02 turned on its own output Y01, without the existence
of any program in the slave CLIC-02. The master controls the slave I/O.

10.3 DATALINK FUNCTION
Datalink function creates an specific network for CLIC-02, allowing the exchange of 8 data
bits among the network elements. The variables W will be the network variables, seeing
that each element will control one range of these addresses. Any CLIC-02 can read the
range W of another CLIC-02.
Hardware Configuration:
1. Connect the CLIC-02 PLCs through the port RS-485, respecting the 8-element limit
and following the installation instructions of the item 4.4.7.
2. Adjust all the CLIC-02 on the menu CONFIG 'REMOTE I/O = N';
3. Set the ID (address) of the CLIC-02, respecting the order of their physical link. The
maximum ID is 07.
