PUTTING THE MACHINE INTO SERVICE
1) Check that the machine has not been damaged during transport.
2) Remove the machine from the packaging, paying attention not to damage levers and cables.
Use an appropriate lifting machine (min. capacity 100 kg). Before putting the machine on the
ground mount the wheels, making sure the fixing nuts are properly fastened (fig. 2, n. 19).
3) Check the engine oil level (fig. 5, B).
4) Mount the forward gear rod (fig. 2, n. 3).
5) Mount the implement (e.g. all purpose flail, brush...) and fasten the nuts tightly (fig. 6).
6) Check the tyre pressure: 1,2 BAR for the drive wheels 16×6.50-8 and 1,5 for the front 4.00-8
wheels
IMPORTANT
7) Fill the tank with fuel using a funnel provided with a fine filter
8) Check the various liquid level with the machine in horizontal position
RUNNING-IN – IMPORTANT!
Drain the engine oil and fill in with fresh one after the first 5 working hours (use SAE30 oil). Check
that there are no oil losses or loose screws, especially those fixing the Y-shaped blades on the
rotor. After a few working hours, if necessary adjust the forward gear belt tension (fig. 4, B) and the
PTO belt tension (fig. 4, A).
