6.3.16 Maintenance of the hydrostatic transmission
For the reliable operation of the transmission it is necessary to maintain the correct oil level. In the
event of problems with the transmission immediately seek the help of an authorised service centre,
there is a risk of serious damage to the transmission.
The oil tank is accessible after tilting out the rear hood and screwing out the oil dipstick.
Wipe the dipstick dry, reinsert it and screw it in. Then again screw it out and take the oil
level reading.
The oil level must be between the two marks on the dipstick. If it is not, fill up with motor
oil so that it reaches the "MAX" mark. The motor oil type is indicated in the user's manual
of the transmission.
