while you are connecting the cable.
Connect the instrument to the cable. Then plug the connector on
the cable into the MF socket on the VIO electrosurgical unit.
20196-115, 20196-118, 20196-119: These products feature
electronic instrument detection. That means that as soon as the
product is plugged into the MF socket, the VIO electrosurgical
unit recognizes it and sets the standard values for mode and ef-
fect automatically. The set modes cannot be changed. However,
you can change the standard values for effects within a certain
range.
20196-124: Select a suitable device setting on the VIO electro-
surgical unit (VIO 300 D: mode, effect and power, VIO 3: mode
and effect). The device setting may not exceed the maximum
electrical capacity of the cable or the instrument as the accesso-
ries may otherwise become damaged. The maximum electrical
capacity of the cable is 1000 V
. The values for the connected in-
p
strument are printed on the instrument or provided in the corre-
sponding instructions for use. Information on selecting appropri-
ate device settings are provided in the User Manual for the VIO
electrosurgical unit (see "Accessories" chapter).

Cleaning, disinfection, sterilization
6.1
Safety instructions for processing
May be cleaned in an ultrasonic bath.
Never use sharp objects for cleaning.
Disinfectants must be rinsed off thoroughly after use.
Maximum air pressure during drying: 2 bar.
Maximum water pressure during rinsing: 2 bar.
During machine cleaning and disinfection, do not exceed 95 °C.
