INFORMATION
1 Application
Only put the product into use in accordance with the information contained in the accompanying
documents supplied. Instruct the patient in the proper use and care of the product. The product
may not be transferred to the patient without prior instruction.
1.1 Indications of use
The 7in1 Controller 9E420 is intended exclusively for exoprosthetic fittings of the upper limbs and
performs control and system-internal coordination of all active prosthetic components.
1.2 Use / Application
The 7in1 Controller 9E420 can be used for unilateral or bilateral amputees or in case of dysmelia.
The 9E420 7in1 Controller may only be used for the Ottobock Electric Hand 2000 and the VASI
Hand VV* in combination with the 757B25=1 and 757B35=* MyoEnergy Integral.
1.3 Conditions of Use
The 7in1 Controller 9E420 has been developed for everyday use and must not be used for unusual
activities such as extreme sports (free climbing, paragliding, etc.).
1.4 User / Qualifications
Fitting a user with the controller may only be performed by prosthetists who have been trained and
certified by Ottobock in the use of the prosthetic components of the prosthesis system.
