7 Description
The 7in1 Controller can be used to control all sizes of the Ottobock Electric Hand 2000. When com-
bined with the Adapter Cable 757VAK2, all hand sizes of the VASI Hand can be controlled as well.

7.1 Control Modes

7 control modes and the option to make patient-specific adjustments are available for optimal
adjustment to the patient.
Settings can only be changed via Bluetooth data transfer and the 560X3=* MyolinoSoft software.
In order to do so, a wireless connection must be established between the 7in1 Controller and the
PC with the 60X6 MyolinoLink, which is connected to the charging receptacle of the 757B25=1,
757B35=* MyoEnergy Integral. Please consult the instructions for use enclosed with the respective
products for detailed information.
Upon delivery, the DMC plus program for 2 electrodes is activated. See Section 10.

7.2 Control components

7.3 Power Supply
Power to the 7in1 Controller and the Ottobock Electric Hand 2000 is supplied exclusively by the
757B25=1 or 757B35=* MyoEnergy Integral. Please consult the instructions for use enclosed
with the product for detailed information.
7.4 Safety Function
In an emergency, it is possible to open the electric hand without Myo signals from the patient.
Read Section 11 of these Instructions for Use.
7.5 Battery Manager
An intelligent „battery manager" alerts you to low voltage conditions - the hand will become slower
and the grip force will decrease. Finally, when there is very little battery capacity remaining, the
hand will switch off automatically to protect the battery against harmful total discharge.
8 Recommended Installation Instructions for the 7in1 Controller
The 7 in1 Controller is positioned in the forearm socket. The flat, slightly rounded design allows
it to be secured in the outer socket or between the outer and inner socket depending on space
availability. When little space is available, the 7in1 Controller is laminated into the outer socket. If
there is sufficient space between the outer and inner socket, the 7 in1 Controller can be secured
using a hook-and-loop closure strap.
