How to Enable / Disable Operations for Each Remote Control Function

It is possible to disable some operation functions ("temperature", "operation mode", "fan speed", "run / stop") for
the indoor unit's remote controllers.
1. With normal running or stopping display (not in any setting mode *), press the ALL / GROUP / ONE
button and select either

display are all off and no unit is being checked (Pages 29, 31, 35).
2. Press the SELECT (
If ALL is selected in Operation 1, skip Operation 2.
To select all the groups, select "88".
3. Press the SET button.
The key mark fl ashes.
4. Press the button for the function for which remote control operation is to be disabled (TEMP (
MODE, FAN SPEED, or RUN/STOP).
When a button is pressed, the display for that function lights up.
When you press that button again, that display goes out.
The displayed functions are disabled for the remote controllers.
5. Press the SET button.
If you have disabled at least one remote control operation, the key mark lights up.
Note
To cancel the settings being made, press the RESET button.
If the switching jumper line J1 is cut, this operation is disabled.
For more information on jumper line settings, consult your dealer.
When multiple indoor units are connected to one remote controller, if you make this setting for any one of the
indoor unit numbers, this is refl ected in the remote controller for that indoor unit.
