Using the appliance
If, however, the water level is not correct, the loading door indicator will remain on to show
that the loading door cannot be opened. If you have to open the loading door when its light
is on, you must cancel the current programme. Refer to the «Cancelling the programme»
section.
Changing the selections after the start of the programme
Pause the machine
Press the "Start/Pause" button to pause the programme while it is in progress. The indicator
of the stage of progress the machine is in will start to flash in the programme progress
indicator to indicate that the machine has entered the «Pause» mode. When the loading door
can be opened, its light turns off.
Changing the speed settings
You can change the speed settings of the programme once it is in progress. Refer to the
«Speed selection» section.
NOTE:
If no changes can be made, the relevant LED will flash 3 times.
Adding or removing laundry
You can load or unload laundry when a programme is in progress and the water is at the
correct level for opening the door. To do so:
1. Press the "Start/Pause" button to pause the programme. The programme monitoring
indicator for the stage at which the machine was paused will flash.
2. Wait until the loading door can be opened.
3. Open the loading door and add or remove laundry.
4. Close the loading door.
5. Make any necessary changes to the speed settings.
6. Press the "Start/Pause" button to start the programme.

Cancelling a programme
To cancel a programme, use the programme selector to choose another programme. The
previous programme will be cancelled. The "Stop/Cancel» light will flash continuously to
indicate that the programme is cancelled.
Your machine will end the programme when you turn the programme selector; however,
the water in the machine will not have been drained. When you select and start a new
programme, it starts according to the cancellation step of the previous programme. For
example, it may require extra water or continue washing using the water in the machine.
NOTE:
Some programmes may start by draining the water inside the machine. Depending
on the stage during which the programme was cancelled, you may need to add detergent
and fabric softener for the new programme you have selected.
End of a programme
When the programme ends, the «END» indicator on the programme progress indicator will
light up.
1. Wait until the «Door Lock On» light goes out completely.
2. To turn off the machine, turn the programme selector to the Off position.
3. Remove your laundry and close the loading door. Your machine is ready for the next
washing cycle.
Your machine is equipped with a «Pause Mode»
After turning on your machine using the programme selector (by setting the button to
a position other than Off), if no programme has been started or if no other procedure is
carried out at the selecting stage, or if no action has been taken by about 2 minutes after
the end of the selected programme, your appliance will automatically switch to energy
saving mode. The brightness of the lights will decrease. If your appliance is equipped with
a display indicating the duration of the programme, this will turn off completely. If you turn
the programme selector or any other button, the lights and the display will return to their
original state. The selections you make when leaving energy efficiency mode can be changed.
Check that your selections are relevant before launching the programme. If necessary, put in
your settings again. This is not an error.
