switched off and unplugged before carrying out
any work on the tool.
Installing or removing the recipro
saw blade
CAUTION:
Always clean out all chips or for-
eign matter adhering to the blade and around the
blade clamp. Failure to do so may cause insufficient
tightening of the blade, resulting in a serious injury.

as it will go. The blade clamp sleeve rotates and fixes the

CAUTION:
If you do not insert the recipro saw
blade deep enough, the recipro saw blade may be
ejected unexpectedly during operation. T h is c an
be e x tremel y d angerous.

OPERATION
CAUTION:
Always hold the tool firmly with
one hand on insulation cover and the other on the
switch handle.
CAUTION:
Always press the shoe firmly
against the workpiece during operation. I f t h e
s h oe is remo v e d or h el d a w a y f rom t h e w orkpie c e
d uring operation, strong v ibration an d / or t w isting w ill
be pro d u c e d , c ausing t h e bla d e to snap d angerousl y .
CAUTION:
Always wear gloves to protect your
hands from hot flying chips when cutting metal.
CAUTION:
Be sure to always wear suitable
eye protection which conforms with current
national standards.
CAUTION:
Always use a suitable coolant
(cutting oil) when cutting metal. F ailure to d o so w ill
c ause premature bla d e w ear.
CAUTION:
Do not quirk the blade during cutting.
Press the shoe firmly against the workpiece. Do not
allo w t h e tool to boun c e. Bring t h e re c ipro sa w bla d e
into lig h t c onta c t w it h t h e w orkpie c e. F irst, make a pilot
groo v e using a slo w er spee d . T h en use a f aster spee d
to c ontinue c utting.
