5.4 - EQUIPOTENTIAL CONNECTION
• The appliance must be included in an equipotential
system. The connection must be carried out with the
set screw marked
with a cross section of at least 10mm².
• The grounding and equipotential systems must be in
accordance with the standards in force and must be
checked periodically.
The manufacturer declines all liability for damage
resulting from noncompliance with these safety
rules.
5.5 - GAS CONNECTION
• Before connecting the appliance to the the gas
supply, check on the data plate that the appliance has
been tested and approved for the type of gas
available. If this is not the case, follow the instructions
of paragraph 6.4: "Adaptation to other types of gas".
• A fast-action on-off valve must be installed in an
easily accessible place upstream of every appliance.
• The gas connection must always be made with 3-
piece connectors which facilitate their disassembly.
The pipes should be either galvanized steel or
copper, positioned in plain view. If flexible tubes are
used, they should be made of stainless steel.

• After having made the connection, check for any
leaks by means of a foaming spray.
• The air required for combustion is 2 m
of power installed.
All applicable Safety Regulations must be complied
with
5.5.1 - Exhaust gas system for type "B11"
appliances
For type "B11" appliances, the exhaust gases must be
collected in a suitable system in compliance with
applicable standards. For this purpose, install the
connecting flue, which is supplied on request: (Fig. 3)
• Remove the grid from the gas discharge.
• Position the connecting flue "P" on the flue "1" and
fasten it with the screws "2".
1. Natural exhaust (Fig. 4).
The appliance can be connected to an efficient
natural-draught flue through the draught diverter "Q"
(supplied
combustion by-products directly into the atmosphere.
2. Installation under the hood and with forced exhaust
system (Fig. 5):
If the appliance is installed directly under the exhaust
hood, the end part of the flue must be at least 1.8 m
from the support surface.
