6. Control panel

The pump control panel, see fig. 1, incorporates the
following buttons and indicator lights:
Buttons,

, for setpoint setting.
Light fields, yellow, for indication of setpoint.
Indicator lights, green (operation) and red (fault).

During normal operation the green indicator light is
on.
In case of non-critical faults allowing continued
operation of the pump, both the red and green
indicator lights will be on.
In case of a critical fault stopping the pump, only the
red indicator light will be on.
In case of a fault that cannot be reset,
always call a Grundfos service man,

7. Ambient temperature and altitude

If the ambient temperature exceeds +40 °C or if the
pump is installed more than 1000 m above sea level,
the motor must not be fully loaded due to the low
density and consequently low cooling effect of the
air. In such cases, it may be necessary to use a
motor with a higher output.
