USING THE READER UNIT

Caution: Limited accuracy and no storage
of measured data for measurements without
SD card!
• Insert the SD card designated for use with
the SENSOR RESERVOIR / SENSOR PRE-
CHAMBER into the reader unit. The implant
(see patient data card) is associated with
the respective SD card via the identification
number (ID). Measured data can only be
save on the designated SD card.
Caution: Unexpected termination of measur-
ement process if SD card is full!
• Check memory status prior to starting
measurement and delete data no longer re-
quired.
Caution: Danger from use of MRI! Only ope-
rate reader unit outside of MRI field of use!
Caution: The reader unit cannot be operated
with low battery status!
• Check battery status. Connect to power
supply if battery status is low.

Caution: No or bad communication! The te-
lemetric link between the reader unit and the
implant may be disrupted if a further reader
unit is used.
• Increase the distance between reader
units.
Caution: The telemetric link between the
antenna and the implant may be disrupted
by a further implant within the vicinity of the
antenna.
• Increase the distance between implants.
Caution: The telemetric link between the
antenna and the implant may be disrupted
by metal components within the vicinity of
the implant.
• Increase the distance from metal compo-
nents!
Note: If the temperature of the SENSOR RE-
SERVOIR / SENSOR PRECHAMBER falls be-
low 20°C, use procedure for "Measurement
without SD card". The device will be operated
with limited accuracy and measured data can-
not be stored. The following error message can
occur during measurement with SD card:
