When working on slopes do not fill up the fuel tank. Use the exact amount
of fuel so as to prevent spillage from vent hole. Do not scarify on very
steep slopes.
Never start the engine in enclosed areas as exhaust gases contain carbon
monoxide which is a poisonous gas and may be fatal.
Likewise, do not keep the machine with fuel in the tank in enclosed or
poorly ventilated places or in places where fuel gases may exposed to a
naked flame or spark from butane, water heaters, ovens, driers, etc.
When the scarifier is in operation there shall never be persons or animals
nearby. There should be a distance of at least 8 metres as there is a risk
of some object being propelled from the ground.
Never put your hands or feet under the scarifier when the engine is working.
Be extremely careful when cleaning or touching the blades. Blades are
very sharp. Wear resistant gloves. Never touch them when the engine is
on. If you have previously been working with the machine, allow a few
seconds before touching the blades as they may keep on turning for a few
seconds. For additional safety, take out the spark plug terminal stud while
handling the blades. Ignoring this rule may result in serious and even
fatal injuries.
Always use the scarifier in daylight or with good artificial lighting.
When operating the machine, avoid touching any part of the engine,
particularly those close to the exhaust pipe because, even though it is
protected, there remains a burning risk. Once work is completed, wait
until it has cooled down before touching any part exposed to heat.
When you store away the machine after operation do not cover it with
materials such as plastic, sacks or blankets until it has cooled down, as
there is a risk of ignition.
When lifting or transporting the scarifier, the engine must be off. Remove
the spark plug cap and always use resistant gloves.

accepts no responsibility.
Do not make changes to any part of this "POWERED BY ROBIN SUBARU"
scarifier without prior authorisation by V.H. Maquinaria S.L as any modification
that has not been authorised by ROBIN SUBARU may result in non-compliance
with safety regulations.
