BELT REPLACEMENT

To replace a belt, remove first the belt cap by loosening the three wing nuts (Fig. 3).
Then, remove the engine pulley by taking out the central clamping screw (Fig. 9).
Replace the old belts by new ones, and place them in the pulleys. Place the pulley in the
engine shaft again, screwing the bolt back in this pulley.
Make sure that belts are correctly placed within their guides and the belt tightener as shown
in Fig. 9.Then, place the belt cap and its clamping wing nuts again.
NOTE: If belts are not placed as indicated, they may break within minutes. Belts must
not be replaced when they show cracks. Wait until they break. These belts are made of
more resistant materials than those in the market and can only be purchased at ROBIN
SUBARU dealers.
Never work without the belt cap as this may result in injury or physical
damage to the machine.

AIR FILTER MAINTENANCE

MODEL ER 45:
Cleaning the dry cartridge air filter
Clean it depending on the dust found on the
working area or everyday if necessary.
Remove the filter case and the nut. Clean by
tapping gently to remove dirt and blow offf dust.
It is possible wash the filter with water. After
cleaning, dry it.
Clean the Pre-filter with water and detergent.
Squeeze the pre-filter and leave until completely dry.
The filter or pre-filter must be replace if is damaged, shows scratches or over 100 hours of use.
