the oil level does not exceed the maximum permissible level. Check the oil level
before each start-up and preferably when the motor is cold.
Place the mower on a flat, level surface and add oil through the hole from the filler
plug with dipstick (9 - see above image) until the oil level is approximately halfway
between the permissible levels on the dipstick, i.e. within the marked field. The level
should be checked by screwing in the filler plug for a moment with a worn, dry
dipstick, then unscrewing it and checking to what level the remaining oil reaches on
it. As a rule, for safety reasons, it is better that the oil level on the dipstick is closer
to the upper permissible limit than to the lower one. If it overflows the allowable
upper limit, drain the excess oil until the level is within the allowable range.
CAUTION: Use only recommended fresh oil to lubricate the drive train, as only such
oil will ensure proper operation and maintenance of the unit. Do not mix different
types of oil!
After checking the oil level and topping up, if necessary, pour fuel into the tank. Fill
fuel through the cap (5) located on top of the motor (see the picture below), taking
care that the maximum level does not exceed the bottom of the filler neck. Take
care not to spill fuel on the unit, especially when it is hot - risk of fire! Wipe spilled
fuel off the unit immediately. It is recommended to use a funnel (not included) to
fill the fuel tank.
