3.4.1 Changing motor oil
Before draining the oil do not tilt the mower to the side to avoid flooding the
motor with oil. The oil drain plug is located on the underside of the unit (indicated
in the image below), so to access it it is necessary to remove the cutting blade
assembly (see section 3.4.2) and possibly the transmission guard. To make the
procedure easier, the cutting height can be set to the highest, so the mower will
have the highest clearance.
ATTENTION: Hot oil is thinner and drains more quickly, therefore running the
motor for a while before changing it is recommended. However, be careful not to
get burned not only by oil but also by heated elements of the mower!
