2 INSTALLATION

The CFW900 frequency inverter must be installed according to the instructions of its user's manual.
ATTENTION!
CFW900 must be installed in an environment with pollution degree 2, as per
IEC 61800-5-1, where condensation must not originate conduction through
the accumulated residues. If the installation site does not meet the pollution
degree requirements, CFW900 must have an ingress protection of at least IP54,
as per IEC 60529, provided either by its enclosure or by an external cabinet.

2.1 STO9 CONNECTIONS

The functional safety signals must be connected to connector XC2 of the CFW900 (connector
related to STO90). The location of this connector, as well as the location of connector XC1 and
DIP switches S1 and S2, is indicated in
