Downstream of boilers or in applications involving the passage inside the filter of water
above 30 °C.
In wells, near drains, in foul-smelling places.
Where there may be chemical vapors, gases or fumes of any kind.
In confined spaces that do not allow an easy performance of the ordinary and extraordinary
maintenance operations.
This equipment must not be used to treat water having microbiological parameters not in
compliance with drinking standards.
Prevent solvents, oils, greases, acidic or caustic substances and detergents to come into contact
with the external plastic and brass parts of the equipment.
In case of very strong bumps during transport or assembly, do not install the equipment and
replace it even if there are no patent damages to the plastic parts.
The plumbing system in which the filter is installed and the installation of the filter itself must be
carried out in compliance with best practice, in line with all the current laws in force.
All materials used for the construction of water plumbing systems must be suitable for contact with
water intended for human consumption according to local laws.
B1.3 General instructions for installation
Once the packaging has been removed, check the filter integrity. If doubt, do not use it and

contact the supplier. Make sure that all listed parts are present.
The construction and modification of a water distribution system intended for human consumption
requires performing the interventions in such a way as not to jeopardize the hygiene of the system.
Before installing the filter, clean all piping and equipment installed before the filter in order to
remove any foreign bodies that could cause filter malfunction.
All materials used for the construction of water distribution systems connected to the equipment
must be suitable for contact with water intended for human consumption. After the installation the
plumbing system intended for human consumption must be washed and/or disinfected according to
the requirements of the EN 806-4 standard.
Warning! Inadequate use, inappropriate hygienic conditions and incorrect installation and
maintenance interventions can lead to contamination of drinking water, damage to the
equipment, leaks and damage caused by water.
B1.4 Hydraulic checks after installation
After having opened the water upstream of the equipment, check for any leaks;
Check that filter is correctly positioned so as to ease ordinary maintenance operations.
Check that system is equipped with: disconnector, by-pass, sampling taps.
Verify there are no leaks from the inlet and outlet fittings and from the filter drain.
Check the compliance of the system with any local regulations or recommendations issued
by the competent local offices

After connecting the filter to the power supply, the display will automatically turn on; the filter
reaches the filtration stage and the display switches off. After this stage, check the operation of the
circuit by manually pressing the buttons
