RPG 2.5: Setting up and/or replacing adapter clamping shell

8.4.1

When is the adapter clamping shell necessary?

X Whenever tubes with an outer diameter of 6.35 - 38.1 mm (0.250" - 1.5") need to be processed.
8.4.2

Removing clamping shell

1. Select correct clamping shell according to the tube dimension (see chap. 3.8.3, p. 55).
2. Screw out the tensioning screw (1) (flush with housing on the inside, see arrows).
3. Screw out the clamping screws (small handles) (2) until they run freely (flush with housing on the inside, see arrows).
If a clamping shell has already been assembled, it can now be removed by simply pressing on it.

Inserting adapter clamping shell

1. Install the adapter clamping shell into the body. The cavity of the clamping shell should thereby be flush with the cavity of the
RPG 2.5-body (see arrow).
2. Tighten the adapter clamping shell with the clamping screws (small handles) (2).
