Caution: Before starting the device, check the fuel level in the tank.
1. If necessary, "prime" the fuel system by pressing the suction pump (c) until
no air bubbles are visible in the fuel line (b).
2. When starting with a cold engine, turn off the suction by moving the suction
lever (a) to the half-open position (diagonal).
When starting a warm engine, move the lever (a) to the open position
(horizontal).
3. Set the ignition switch to position "I".
4. Place the device on a stable surface and press it down with one hand. Using
your other hand, pull the starter cord holder vigorously. If necessary, repeat
it up to 5 times. If the device fails to start, discontinue attempts to avoid
flooding the engine.
- Do not use excessive force when pulling on the starter cord holder.
- Do not pull the starter cord out completely. Do not make any sudden moves
as it may cause the pull cord to recoil and lead to sprains, bruises, etc.
5. When starting a cold engine, allow it to idle for about 2-3 minutes until it
reaches the working temperature. As the engine warms up, gradually turn
the suction lever to the open position.
