- Start the engine and let it idle until the operating temperature is reached (2-
3 minutes).
- Use a screwdriver to turn the idle screw clockwise to increase the engine
idle speed.
- Turn the idle screw counterclockwise to reduce the engine idle speed.
Caution: Tubes must be installed when adjusting engine idle speed! Engine
idle speed is affected if intake cover or tubes are blocked, damaged or
incorrectly installed!
INSPECTION SCHEDULE
Before use always:
- Clean the external parts of the machine removing the contamination
- Check the engine, tank and fuel line for possible fuel leaks.
- Check the engine cooling system (fins) for accumulated dirt, clean if
necessary.
- Check the device's general technical condition, i.e. possible damages,
loose screws, missing parts, etc.
Every 10 hours (more often when working in a polluted environment)
- Check the level of wear / contamination of the air filter. Replace or
clean it.
Every 10/15 hours
- Clean the outside of the spark plug, check the gap between the
electrodes.
Every 50 hours (more frequently if you notice that the device's
performance decreases)
- Check the device's general technical condition, i.e. possible damages,
loose screws, missing parts, etc.
- Replace the spark plug with the same type.
- Remove and clean fuel filter. Use fresh, uncontaminated fuel for
cleaning.
STORING (over 30 days)
Before storing the device for more than 30 months, perform the following steps:
1. Clean the device and remove dirt.
2. Check the technical condition of the device, confirm there are no damages,
loosening, missing parts, etc.
3. Drain the fuel from the fuel tank, carburetor and fuel lines.
4. Remove the spark plug, pour ca. 15 ml of oil into the cylinder. Gently and
slowly pull the starter cord handle to distribute the oil and lubricate the
cylinder. Reinstall the spark plug.
