Power Supply Cable

Serious injury can result, e.g. from electric shocks, if an
unsuitable/inadequately dimensioned power supply
cable is used.
Only use the original power supply cable.

Contact Sartorius Service. Do not repair or modify
the power supply cable.

Conduct in an Emergency

If an emergency occurs, e.g., due to malfunctions of the
device or dangerous situations: People may be injured.
The device must be immediately taken out of operation:
Disconnect the device from the power supply.

Secure the device to prevent it from restarting.

Accessories, Consumables, and
Spare Parts
Unsuitable accessories, consumables, and spare parts
can adversely affect functionality and safety and can
have the following consequences:
— Risk of injury to persons
— Damage to the device
— Device malfunctions
— Failure of the device
Only use approved accessories, consumables, and

spare parts supplied by Sartorius.
Only use accessories, consumables, and spare parts

that are in technically perfect condition.

Danger of Injury due to
Defective Device Components
2.8.1

Damage to the Housing

In case of contact with damaged housing during
operation: Individuals may suffer an electric shock. This
can lead to life-threatening injuries.
If the housing is damaged: Disconnect the device

from the power supply and dispose of it.
2.8.2

Damage to the Power Supply Cable

If a damaged power supply cable is used or in case of
contact with a damaged power supply cable: Individuals
may suffer an electric shock. This can lead to life-
threatening injuries.
If the power supply cable is damaged: Replace the

power supply cable. For a replacement, contact
Sartorius Service. Do not repair or modify the power
supply cable.

Damage to the Housing Insulation

If the housing insulation is damaged due to high
temperatures: Individuals may suffer an electric shock.
This can lead to life-threatening injuries.
Only operate the device at the permissible

temperatures and altitudes (see chapter "12.2
Ambient Conditions", page 13).

Ingress of Fluids

If fluids enter the device: Individuals may suffer an
electric shock. This can lead to life-threatening injuries.
If fluids have entered the device:
