No gas flows from the torch
In power source Item No 564, solenoid valve (13) is controlled when the machine is switched on in order to bleed the
gas pipes.
Solenoid (13) can be activated with the gas test command via touch panel (1) (see Instruction Manual).
SOLENOID (13) TEST
□ Solenoid terminals (13) = 24 VDC approximately, with start button pressed.
Correct?
NO
■ Check the wiring between solenoid (13) and connector J19 of panel board (47).
■ Check resistance at terminals of solenoid (13) = 56 ohm approximately. In the event of 0 ohm (short circuit), replace
solenoid (13) and check the efficiency of MOSFETs M3-4 and diodes D20-22 on panel board (47).
■ Check the components fitted to the line controlling solenoid (13) (R67-148, R59-167, M3-4, D20-22) on control panel
(47) are intact (see connector map, section 5.4).
■ Check supply voltage at J20 of panel board (47).
■ Replace power board (56) and/or panel board (47).
■ Replace the solenoid (13).

Check the wiring between J17 and J18 of panel board (47),
connector (8) and the accessory connected to connector
NO
(8).
♦
Check power supply voltages of power board (56) and
panel (47) by performing the tests in section 3.3.1.
♦
Replace panel board (47).
NOTE
♦
Check resistance at terminals of solenoid (13) = 56 ohm
approximately. If > Mohm (winding broken), replace
solenoid (36).
YES
♦
Check the presence of gas at the inlet fitting (11) and
that the pressure and flow rate in the intake conduit meet
specifications.
♦
Make sure there are no blockages in the power source
gas hoses.
♦
Replace the solenoid (13).
