Safety
WARNING:
Read these instructions carefully before use and keep them for future reference.
Your child's safety may be affected if you do not follow these instructions.
This vehicle is intended for use by one child only.
This vehicle is intended for children from zero (0) months and up to a maximum of 15 kg.
WARNING: A CHILD'S SAFETY IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
WARNING
It may be dangerous to leave your child
unattended.
WARNING
Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged
before use.
WARNING
Use a harness as soon as your child can sit
unaided.
WARNING
Any load attached to the handle affects the
stability of the pram/pushchair.
WARNING
Always use the crotch strap in combination
with the waist belt.
WARNING
Check that the pram body or seat unit
attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.
WARNING
This product is not suitable for running or
skating.
WARNING
Always use the restraint system.
WARNING
This product is not intended for prolonged
periods of sleeping.

Do not let your child play with this product.
IMPORTANT
It is important for your child's safety that the harness be
correctly fitted and adjusted. If not adjusted correctly in
accordance with the instructions the stability of the buggy will
be impaired.
The child should be clear of moving parts while making
adjustments.
IMPORTANT-DANGER: It is important that great care is
taken to ensure that children are kept well clear of the
buggy when folding or unfolding the product. Finger
traps and scissoring actions are unavoidable during these
operations.
• Follow all instructions carefully. Incorrect use will cause
damage to buggy.
GENERAL INFORMATION
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
This seat unit requires regular maintenance by the user. Regularly check all
rivets and connecting devices for tightness and security. Inspect all brakes,
wheels and tyres and replace or repair if necessary. Check all safety devices for
correct operation, in particular the primary and secondary locks. These should
be free to move at all times. Never continue to use a product that is
not structurally sound.
We recommend a service every 12 months.
If wheels squeak, lubricate sparingly with WD40 Teflon or silicone coating. Do
NOT use oil or grease based products, as this will attract dirt, which will clog
the movement.
Only Maclaren replacement parts should be used. It may be unsafe to use
parts not supplied by Maclaren.
Accessories which are not approved by the manufacturer shall not be used.

• Children should be harnessed in at all times and should
never be left unattended.
• The harness and seat belt are not a substitute for proper
adult supervision.
• For extra safety 'D' rings are provided for the attachment
of a separate, full harness (to EN13210 or BS6684).
• Do not carry additional children, goods or accessories
in or on this buggy except as permitted in this leaflet.
They may cause the buggy to become unstable.
• CAUTION: Overloading may cause a hazardous unstable
condition to exist. Maximum load 2 kg (4.4 lbs) evenly
distributed. The buggy may be folded with the bag still
attached but all contents must be removed. Failure to do
this could damage buggy and contents of shopping bag.
Maximum carrying capacity of hood pouch is 0.5 kg (1.1 lbs).
• Overloading, incorrect folding and the use of accessories, i.e.
child seats, bag hooks, rain covers, buggy boards, etc., other
than those approved by Maclaren may damage or break this
vehicle.
• Any damage caused by the use of accessories not supplied by
Maclaren will not be covered by the terms of our warranty.
• Never leave child in the buggy when ascending or
descending stairs or escalators or when travelling on other
forms of transport.
• The buggy should always open and fold easily. Do not force it.
It may be necessary to re-read the instructions.
• Negotiate curbs and rough ground carefully. Repeated
impact will cause damage to the buggy.
• Never allow children to stand on the footrest.
• Do not leave the buggy exposed to heat i.e. by a radiator
or in direct sunlight.
• Do not place items on the top of the hood.
CLEANING
Clean frame with a damp cloth and a mild detergent and dry thoroughly.
Do not use abrasives.
If the buggy chassis parts have been exposed to salt water we recommend that
they be rinsed down with fresh (tap) water as soon as possible afterwards.
The hood may be sponged lightly using a damp cloth and a mild detergent.
The seat cover may be washed - see care labels for details.
Dry thoroughly before reuse.
Do not fold or store the product while wet and never store in a damp
environment as this can cause mildew to form.
Maclaren reserve the right to make design changes to any of their products as part of their
continuous development programme.
This product is designed and manufactured to comply with BS7409:1996
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT: READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USE AND KEEP THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
YOUR CHILDREN'S SAFETY MAY BE AFFECTED IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS.

TO OPEN THE BUGGY
A Release storage clip.
B Grasp handles and fully open the buggy.
C Using the foot, push the footplate all the way
down until you hear a click.
The Primary lock is now engaged.
N OTICE: Make sure both locks are set and look
horizontal to the ground.

TO OPERATE BRAKES
T he brakes are located on the wheels at the back of the buggy.
A T O ENGAGE BRAKES: With foot, push down either brake
pedal located on of each rear wheel until you hear a click.
B T O RELEASE BRAKES: With foot, kick either brake pedal up.
N OTICE: Brakes shall be used when: stationary, making
adjustments, especially on a hill or during the loading and
unloading of children.

SEAT HARNESS SYSTEM OPERATION
WARNING: AVOID SERIOUS INJURY FROM
FALLING OR SLIDING OUT. ALWAYS USE SEAT
HARNESS SYSTEM.
ADJUST THE HARNESS TO FIT YOUR CHILD'S SIZE
TO FIT HARNESS, place child in seat:
A Pull shoulder straps over the child's shoulder then attach
to the waist clips by sliding strap loops onto the hooks.
B Insert both waist clips into the clasp; shoulder straps are
secured once the clips are fastened.
C Adjust strap lengths by sliding buckles. Belt and harness
should be snug.
TO RELEASE HARNESS:
D Press the center button on both the front and back of the
clasp simultaneously to release.

TO OPERATE FRONT WHEEL SWIVEL LOCKS
A USE FOOT TO LOCK SWIVELS:
With foot, fully press the back of the pedal located
between each wheel until you hear a click.
B USE FOOT TO UNLOCK SWIVELS:
With foot, press the front of the pedal located between
each wheel until you hear a click.
