Problem:
The mecablitz 40 MZ-... has been equipped with
the slave adapter. After switch-on the "SL1" remo-
te channel is instantly indicated on the LC-display.
Possible cause / Remedy:
This is perfectly normal with some of the older
flash unit models. Complete an initialising proce-
dure to set the remote channel.
9.3 Meaningless information on the display
Should the LC display of your mecablitz indicate
meaningless information or should the flash unit
not work properly, then try to remedy the problem
as follows:
1a) Switch off the flash unit by its main switch.
1b) Take the batteries out of the flash unit.
1c) Switch on the mecablitz for approx. 1 second
and then switch off again.
1d) Return the batteries.
or / and:
2a) Switch off the camera and the mecablitz.
2b) Remove the SCA adapter from the mecablitz
and then refit.
The mecablitz should function properly when
switched on again. Should this not be the case
then please consult your local dealer!
