3. Keep touching and holding the fi eld
until the desired quantity of espresso powder has been dispensed. The corresponding fi eld and
the fi eld (25) fl ash.
4. Let go of the fi eld. This grinding time is saved. A beep is heard.
Setting the Water Quantity
In the factory, 60 ml are preset for a single espresso and 90 ml for a double espresso. Note that
during extraction some of the water remains in the espresso powder, so a full 60 or 90 ml does
not end up in the espresso cup.
The device only saves the water quantity if it is between 20 – 125 ml for a single espresso or
20 – 250 ml for a double espresso.
1. Make sure that the water tank (6) is fi lled with enough water (see the "Preparation"
chapter – "Filling the Water Tank").
2. Fill the portafi lter (16) with espresso powder (see the "Preparation" chapter – "Filling the
Portafi lter"). When you do this, note which water setting you want to adjust – single or double
espresso!
3. Insert the portafi lter into the device (see the "Preparation" chapter – "Inserting the Portafi lter
into the Device").
4. Place a cup under the portafi lter.

until the desired quantity of water has been dispensed. The corresponding fi eld and the fi eld
(25) fl ash.
6. Let go of the fi eld. This quantity of water is saved. A beep is heard.
Setting the Water Temperature
Four different brewing temperatures can be chosen: 90 / 92 / 94 / 96°C. A brewing temperature of
92°C is preset in the factory.
To change this setting, proceed as follows:
1. Touch the fi eld
If no setting is made within the next 60 seconds, the process is cancelled and the previous
setting is retained.
2. The temperatures are saved behind the operating fi elds. Touch the fi eld you want:
(30) – 90°C
(23) – 92 °C
(24) – 94 °C
(26) – 96 °C
The fi eld fl ashes and the corresponding chosen temperature fi eld also lights up.
3. Touch the fi eld
(single espresso, 30) or
(single espresso, 24) or
(25) for approx. 3 seconds. A beep is heard and the fi eld fl ashes.
