3.5.2) Fusion process control
a) The operator must check ECU and the complete fusion process, including the cooling phase of the joint.
b) In case of smoke and/or loss of melted polyethylene must immediately stop the process by pressing the red STOP
button.
c) Be aware that the fusion of any material involves a risk of fire ignition. Inquire about how to alert the fire department
and/or providing a device for extinguishing of fires.
3.5.3) Safety distances during the fusion process
a) Avoid body contact with fittings or cables during fusion process. Keep a minimum safety distance of 1 meter / 3.28 ft.
