4 .12 Plate size selection

The standard plates for passenger vehicles can be
used for measuring wheelbases of up to max. 3400
mm.

For wheelbases in excess of 3400 mm, use must be
made of the large commercial vehicle plates at the
rear axle for measurement purposes.

The front of the plate must face the sensor.

1. Lightly lubricate the socket pins of the plates to pro-
tect the pin and socket.

2. Attach the four plates to the clamps.

The plates can be attached to the clamp in any order.
3. Use the spirit level (1) to align the plates.
