• Cancer patients: Phototherapy can soothe many of the side effects of cancer
treatments. However, the use of phototherapy on these patients should be assessed
by the appropriate medical specialists.
The LED mask must never be covered by any material whatsoever while in use. The
patient's skin must remain directly exposed to the light.
If the device enters into direct contact with the patient's intact skin, this is deemed
"non-critical" (low risk of infection) and the device should be lightly disinfected. We
recommend lightly disinfecting all the transparent parts of the device in contact with
the skin as well as the protective eye covers before and after each facial.
