4.0 PRODUCT PRESENTATION
4.1. Operating principle
The myLEDmask is a device that is used to perform photobiomodulation (based on
light-emitting diode (LED) light) on the face and neck. Light radiates from the inside of
the device onto the face and neck. This light is generated by LEDs with two different
visible spectrum wavelengths: red and near-infrared. The facials are pre-programmed
based on each phototype (skin tone) and recorded in the device.
4.2. Description
• Device components
The myLEDmask is composed of a LED mask and a battery charger.
A control panel located on the outside of the neckpiece is used to
operate the device.
The battery is also housed in the neckpiece. When fully charged, it
enables the device to be used several times.
The myLEDmask features plastic eye protections on the
inside which protect your eyes during use. These protections
also enable you to correctly position the mask on your
face. For each eye there is also a cover piece which can be
removed and cleaned.
The retaining strap allows you to attach the
mask around your head.
