18. WARRANTY
Moretti products are guaranteed for 2 (two) years from the date of sale against material and
manufacturing defects, subject the following limitations. The warranty is voided by improper use,
abuse, modifications to the product and failure to follow the instructions. The intended use of the
product is given in the user manual.
Any modification to the product, including reprogramming of the TIBODA controller to change
its factory settings, voids the warranty. Moretti is not liable for damage, injury or any other
consequences resulting from installation or use which are not scrupulously conforming with the
instructions given in the installation, assembly and user manual.
Moretti does not guarantee its products against damage or defects in the following circumstances:
natural disaster, unauthorised repair or maintenance, improper electric power supply (as applicable),
use of parts or components not supplied by Moretti, failure to follow the guidelines and instructions,
tampering, shipping damage (other than the original shipping by Moretti), or failure to run
maintenance as indicated in the manual.
The following are not covered by the warranty:

Parts subject to normal wear and tear, such as the tyre
•
Mechanical or structural failures caused by improper assembly
•
Damage due to improper use resulting in accidents of any kind
•
Loss of the product
•
Damage due to improper or inadequate maintenance
•
Damage caused during shipping and return by third parties
•
Damage to products whose serial number has been removed or tampered with
•
Damage due to use in competition of any kind
•
Damage caused by use on irregular ground and similar activities
•
Damage caused by transporting more than one person at a time
•
Damage caused by use not envisaged in this manual
18.1 Rechargeable battery warranty
The original and spare batteries are guaranteed for 90 days over a period of 6 months as regards
their production and the law. If the battery charger is not used for more than 3 consecutive months,
the warranty is void. If the exhausted batteries are not used for more than 3 consecutive days, the
warranty is void.
