1 Make sure that the bottle contains a sufficient amount of anti-spatter agent.
2 Set the spraying amount by turning the flow regulator (1).
Make sure that the spraying time and the metered amount are adequate for the
amount of spatter formation.
NOTE
• The Front Injector TMS-VI may only be operated by qualified personnel.
• As the Front Injector TMS-VI is integrated into a welding system, the
operating instructions of the welding components, such as the robot
control system, must be observed during operation.

1 After the cleaning operation, position the welding torch with gas nozzle (2)
vertically above the Front Injector TMS-VI.
 Fig. 4 on page EN-8
2 Activate the 5/2-way valve (4). The spraying operation is activated.
Recommended residence time approx. 1 sec.
3 After the spraying operation, integrated the welding torch in the welding
sequence.
NOTE
• As the Front Injector TMS-VI is integrated into a welding system, putting
out of operation depends on the robot control system. Please make sure
that the shutdown procedures for all components integrated in the
welding system are strictly observed.
1 Switch off compressed air.
2 Switch off the power supply.
Regular and lasting maintenance and cleaning are the prerequisite of a long
life and a trouble free operation.
