Installation and connection
● Please observe the local kitchen regulations.
● Installation work must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's assembly instructions
and in accordance with accepted technical regulations.
● The installation and assembly tasks listed here must only be carried out by assembly specialists!
● Observe the safety instructions!
9.1
Transport the appliance
● Note the weight of the appliance.
. Transport the appliance using suitable transport equipment or lift truck.
9.2
Notes about the location of installation
● Make sure that there is sufficient free space above the appliance! There must be no shelves or
moveable swivelling equipment above the appliance that could be pivoted over the appliance!
● Make sure that there is sufficient area for movement to operate the appliance! Also that there is
no risk of inadvertent impact with persons when handling the appliance.
● If the appliance is operated in the customer area, appropriate protection must be installed so that
the customer cannot come into contact with the appliance.
● Observe the health and safety information supplied by the employers' liability insurance as
sociation for deep fat fryers! Capacities are added together if a number of deep fat fryers are
installed next to one another. This may require precautions regarding fire protection!
● Do not setup deep fat fryers and roasting pans below a sprinkler system!
● Do not install water bath, cooker, pasta cooker near deep fat fryers! Keep a minimum distance of
900 mm or install a splash guard (sheet metal deflector) with a minimum height of 350 mm.
● For induction appliances: The air sucked in must not be greasy and may not be warmer
than 40°C.
● Do not install induction appliances above heat radiating appliances, for example, above baking
oven or heat cabinets.
● The appliance may only be operated outdoors if in a covered area and with sufficient wind protec
tion. Protect the appliance and the connection cable against moisture!
