(a) The Dongle is not included in the product. Only required if the user chooses to connect via 3G/4G.
(b) The Charger is required in cases of powering the gateway via the passive PoE charger included in the product.
If another PoE power supply is used, the Ethernet connection will not include the charger.
NOTE!
Cassia X2000 does not support networks using VPNs (Virtual Private Network) or networks with
proxy. Therefore, select a network with internet access that does not use VPN or proxy. Otherwise,
the application will not work correctly.
4.4.2.1 Connection via 3G/4G
Purchasing a 3G/4G dongle will be required as it is not included with the product. The 3G/4G dongle should be
chosen according to the table provided below. If it is not possible to use any of the indicated dongles, contact
WEG Customer Service for more information.

Connection via 3G/4G depends on the local cellular network and its operators. Due to possible
instability of the cellular network, it is not recommended to choose this kind of connection if you can
choose one of the other two options, ethernet or Wi-Fi.
4.4.2.2 Connection via Wi-Fi
The Cassia X2000 gateway can connect to a Wi-Fi network that uses the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n protocols in the 2.4G
Hz and 5G Hz frequency band. The way the gateway obtains the IP address of the network can be configured for
either DHCP or fixed, adapting to the type of network available. Once configured and accepted by the Wi-Fi network,
the gateway will automatically try to connect to the network every time it is turned on or has lost its connection.
