Operating Instructions – Spring Balancers
EINLEITUNG
• These operating instructions have been drafted for the spring balancers of the following model series:
ER00, ER11 and ER21.
• The basic constructional design of the spring balancers is identical. Each model series is designed for a certain
load range and a certain cable travel length leading to a difference in the dimensions. Please refer here to the
"Equipment parameters" section.
• These operating instructions provide the details for installation of the spring balancers by those duly trained and
qualified as well as details on operating them by personnel briefed for this purpose.
• To carry out repairs, specific servicing instructions are available which those with appropriate training and skills can
study on our www.kromer.com homepage or which can be sent to them from a request to kromer@kromer.com.
• The German original version is the only legally binding one. Subject to changes without notice.

EC DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
With sole responsibility, we declare that the spring balancers have been developed, designed and manufactured in
accordance with the EC Machines Directive "2006/42/EC".
The following standards have been applied: DIN EN ISO 12100 and DIN 15112.

This declaration of conformity loses its validity if the spring balancers are modified or changed.

WARRANTY
For the spring balancers we provide a warranty on function and fault-free material for 24 months from the date of
delivery. This does not extend to the consequences of customary wear and tear, overloading, improper handling and
fitting outside-supplied spares.
We only take on the warranty when the appliance is presented to us for examination in a completed state. Damage
caused by material or manufacturer faults will be put right gratuitously in the form of a substitute delivery or repair. Our
general terms of business and trade hold good.

• The nameplate is fitted to the housing.
