2 Operation and Features
Constant Current Operation
The following steps show you how to perform the constant current (CC) operation.
1 Short the binding posts.
2 Turn on the power supply.
3 Select an output channel.
4 Set the display to the limit mode.

– Press the [POWER] button to turn off the power supply.
– Connect a short circuit between the positive (+) and negative (—) binding
posts of your desired output.
– Press the [POWER] button to turn on the power supply.
– The power supply will then perform a self-test (self-test is not indicated at
the display).
– The display turns on all annunciators briefly.
– The outputs are disabled by default (the OFF annunciator turns on).
– The display shows OFF for both outputs (line 1 and 2).
– Press [1] to select Output 1, or
– Press [2] to select Output 2.
– The corresponding annunciator (OUT1 or OUT2) turns on.
– Press the [Display Limit] button to set the display to the limit mode. The
LIMIT annunciator turns on.
– The display will show the voltage and current limit values for the selected
output.
– The display for the non-selected output remains unchanged.
